Following each day of the CommOCEAN conference, attendees were able to enjoy two social events organised by the hosts:

Social Event 1 - Walking tour of Southampton and city reception at SeaCity Museum. 

Social Event 2 - Attend a ‘Pint of Science’ event at Brewhouse & Kitchen, Southampton.

Science Meets Art: Snippet from "My World"  

MY WORLD by Zella Compton and Tom Guyer retells the story of St George and the Dragon from the perspective of sea creatures making sacrifices to a monster. The show was performed by Mayflower Youth Theatre.
